Plastic-free tape, but is covered in plastic packaging at arrival
"I was excited to get this tape because it is made of cellulose, but was shocked to see that for the 10-pack, that every single roll was wrapped in a plastic wrapper, and then the 10 rolls were all wrapped in an even bigger plastic wrap. Not good for trying to reduce plastic waste. The tape itself works as stated, and is easy to tear by hand, but is clear, so it work just like regular transparent tape. Please work on better packaging so that the next time I have to buy some, it is plastic-free packaging!"
Worth the cost
"Been buying this for years and it's worth every penny. If they ever stop selling these I will cry. As an eco friendly small business, this is one of the many items I depend on to run it effectively. Yes. Tape."
Great tape for those who care about the environment
"I bought this tape because the description says the tape is biodegradable, although I haven't personally tested this claim. As someone who ships a lot of packages, biodegradable packaging is important to me. This tape only gets 4 stars due to two reasons. One, the tape is extremely expensive. I can buy 8 rolls of regular packing tape that is more durable than this for about $22. I am willing to pay more for an earth friendly product, but the price is going to deter some people from buying it and that means no incentive for them to make the switch which is bad news for landfills. Two, this tape is not as durable when packing up bigger and heavier boxes, and I find myself using about 3 times more tape to get the job done. Please make this tape more comparable in price to it's competitors and we could save the environment even more."
