Good, but small Ecotools brushes
"The packaging states that these brushes are a foundation brush (the smaller flat brush) and a powder brush, which is a bit misleading as these brushes are small. The smaller brush is way too small to be a reasonable foundation brush. its more the size of a concealer brush, but with longer bristles. The powder brush is also more appropriate for targeted application of powder products (blush, highlighter, etc.), but again is on the small side. Other than that, the brushes seem good - soft, no bristle fallout, good product pick-up."
Brushes are great but the bag...
"I have other Ecotools so I knew the brushes would be to my liking, and they were. I wanted this for a carryon bag on an upcoming 4-day trip and the brushes were just the right size. BUT as cute and handy as the bag is, the zipper broke the first time I used it. So, 4 stars for nice brushes no stars for useless bag."
for the price, invest in a different brand of budget beginner brushes
"pros:
- great beginner brushes
- 2-in-1
- labelled to tell you the purpose of each brush
cons:
- a lot of bristle fall-out when i try to clean the eyeshadow/ eyeliner brushes :(
- you risk getting the opposite end of your brush contaminated and knocking into a mirror because it's double-sided
- you don't get a lot of brushes for $15-17 (fluctuating prices). you can easily spend the same amount of money on a full ELF brush set"
