"Twice daily, I scrub and change out the water in a gallon size bird bath. I wear these gloves for my own safety because wildlife (birds, raccoons, fox, and deer) can carry many pathogens and one small cut on my skin is all it takes to contract something.

These gloves are compostable, and unlike other similar copies/brands I've tried, do not rip from a little friction. I wanted to mention - sometimes you need to moisten your fingers to pry them open. You will think they are single ply, but they are not.

"My partner gets a lot of nicks on his hands from the dry weather here so he likes to wear these for food handling - especially when dealing with meat. We've tried other brands but these are by far the best. My two critiques would be 1) I wish they were longer on the arm, so they cover your wrist more - we sized up but then you get more of a chance that they slip off. 2) Easier to open the gloves to put your hand in - usually it's pretty easy to just cause a little friction with the material and they'll split open so you can put your hand in, but sometimes you can sit there for 5 minutes until you end up throwing the glove in the compost. Not sure if a more uneven or serrated edge would work?"
