I like that it's biodegradable and I like the cute little refillable glass dispenser. I don't know enough about activated charcoal to be excited about having it in my floss, but other people are, so hey, there's that. I REALLY like that it has grapefruit seed extract because that's been proven to be a useful element in removing plaque and tartar. I like the little knotty bits, too--they feel scrubby and effective.

But the thing I like the most about this floss came as a complete surprise. Because it is black, I can see exactly what it's removing. With this black floss, I get instant feedback on how I'm brushing, and the areas I need to pay a little more attention to. I can also see how effective the products I use actually are--at any given time, I probably have four or five toothpastes in rotation, as well as three different mouthwashes (for pre- and post-brushing). There are real, visible, differences in how well some of them work."
