"As a 4th/5th grade teacher in Vermont, I was very disappointed when our school refused to supply straws to the kids any more. They offered no replacement straws, but continued serving drinks that required straws to use properly. I found these straws online and bought some. I started handing them out to kids who needed them. They LOVED them! I showed our cook and she was pleased they were biodegradable!

The only drawback is that I got these that are too long for the containers. So I cut them in half and placed them into a cup on my desk. Kids could access them at snack time and all was well! Even basically got 2-for-the-price-of-1 by cutting them in half! A winner all around!"

"We tried these new biodegradable straws at our Seafood Restaurant. Customers love them because they feel like a plastic straw, but break down and so won't harm the environment and the sea life. Since a lot of the plastic is ending up in our oceans this seems like a small step in the right direction. They are reasonably priced and a much better product than any paper straws we tried."

"The straws themselves are great! Sturdy and durable. The 4-stars is because of all the additional/unnecessary packaging that was shipped with them. Kind of seems to defeat the purpose since the point of buying these straws was to be better to our planet and reduce my carbon footprint."
