"There will always be a need for Goo Gone at one point or another. May not be all the time but given the price and how little of it needs to be used to get the job done efficiently, it's definitely something great to have at home all the time. Always works to remove adhesive residue hands down never fails."

"Pro: This is an original formula and works great as described. I used it to remove a stubborn adhesive sticker residue that remained on my shiny silver plastic coffee sipping mug that fits in a standard car rack. I had planned on giving it to my friend who still owns a car and wanted to remove the annoying tackiness that still remained after using Dawn dish washing soap. As soon as I got it delivered I used a paper towel to apply it to the plastic surface and it removed the large 3 inch stickiness in about a minute. I waited to see if had removed any shine from the mug's surface and then washed it again with a few drops of Dawn to clean it again. It looks great and no longer has residual stickiness. I had already removed the old sticker pasted on it several years ago, but that annoying glue just wouldn't go away until I used Goo Gone Original Liquid - 8 Ounce again. I haven't used the plastic scraper to remove labels that was included for free, but I don't usually have issues with new labels nowadays so I don't care how long it lasts and did not rate it. I'm very happy with the product and would highly recommend it.
Con: I seriously dislike that the bottle no longer has the plastic cap with the small hole in the dispenser like the original one had! I had read the reviews from others that complained about this once they removed the paper label tab and discovered it had changed, so I poked a hole in the top hoping to slow down the amount it would pour out. No good! It still tore too large a gash but as long as it stays upright, I think it will be safe enough to store in the cupboard under the sink. Why they changed the bottle top is beyond understanding since it is a hazardous liquid. Sigh. I didn't deduct a star from it but I considered it to be a defective change nonetheless. Be warned."

"I have some 3 year old sticker glue on a stainless steel kitchen appiiance. Put a squirt of this stuff on a paper towel, and 20 seconds later, sticker glue all gone! Not really sure if I can give higher praises here."
