These are good in theory, but I’ve had to throw them all out. I was diligent with washing them in a timely manner...but that didn’t matter. After a few uses (I drink mostly water), they made everything taste “powdery”. Even if I washed them again and used them immediately, still powdery. I had my wife try it and she said the same thing. I don’t know what that taste is coming from—if it’s rotting somehow on the inside or there’s a coating that’s coming off. I wouldn’t risk it. So, for now, I will stick with metal straws.

A wonderful, eco-friendly product. I really love having them on hand to use with any of my drinks and they are super helpful when you have sensitive teeth, as regular metal straws sometimes get unbearably cold, whereas these do not have that issue. One tip though *wash these immediately after use. The bamboo does absorb any liquid that it sits in and you can see how it saturates the straw. I am concerned about this being a breeding ground for bacteria. Nonetheless, still a 5 star product!"

"These are 9 inches which is a little longer than most you see in stores. Great for taller tumblers.
Easy to clean with thin brush. Very hard bamboo and durable. Great looking as well. Glad I made this purchase."
