"I have several rather large wastebaskets in my house. I am using these bags as long term liners. They fit the baskets perfectly.

Due to the cost of this item, I am trying not to discard the bags after only one use. I am using them only as liners in the baskets. So far, they seem durable enough but they do feel sheer and flimsy."

"I purchased these as a way to supplement my food waste composting service’s 1-bag/week allotment. They are BPI compatible & are almost identical to the compostable plastic bag the service provides (this green is slightly lighter, other than that they feel and perform the same). Lazy me, with the “luxury” of an extra bag on a refrigerator clean-out day (fyi, the service I use takes ALL foodstuffs so a clean out really is anything you can eat), I laid the half-filled, twisted-close bag on the kitchen counter and stepped away for some other tasks. When I returned (~60-90 minutes later), liquid from the bag had seeped through the side & onto the counter. I also notice after weekly pickup of my 5-gallon lidded bucket that there is liquid at the bottom which has seeped through the bags I’ve collected in there. This might be normal, and isn’t a big deal if you’re aware of it, but didn’t realize that should happen."
