"I like that these utensils are recycled and biodegradable, etc, etc. I will certainly consider using them (or similar) again for disposable use. However, I am partial here to the forks, and they proved to be the most helpful. The tines are not super 'stabby' and the wood absorbs food taste enough to make the next bite remind you of the last one, regardless of the separate foods. That said, the forks are the heavy lifters here. The spoons are super shallow and best for stirring things or for scooping foods with bulk to them, like oatmeal or good applesauce. Forget soup. You will starve before this spoon delivers enough runny liquid to sustain you. As for the knives, they are more of a novelty item, and not to be taken seriously. They are sharp enough to hurt your feelings, but not really up to the task of cutting meat, slicing pie cleanly, or defending yourself from squirrels at your picnic in the park."

"These are great if you need natural utensils for a party. The value for the price is unmatched. The obvious limitation on all of these utensils no matter the brand is that the fork and spoon are very shallow, almost flat, and will not do well with soups or anything liquid because they just don't have much volume. Strength is limited for any natural utensil. The forks and knives worked great for our pulled pork and cake and beans and rice but would not work for cutting chicken, for example. However, the theme was more important than perfect utility so we go them and were very happy. Be very careful with brands made in China as some other brands people complained of chemical smells, and that set off an alarm for me since these are not subject to any safety testing. These did not smell like chemicals at all.
The last thing is that the knife was not as shown in the pic, the pic shows a knife with a beveled edge and very distinct teeth. In reality the knife was flat without any bevel and the serrated edge was pretty low teeth that were not always well defined. Again, we had pulled pork so that wasn't a concern at all."
