Thermal Labels won't stick, update to my review changed to a 5 star
"I'm trying to be more eco-friendly with my shipping. I have a small business. I appreciate that these are compostable but I can't use them. My thermal shipping labels will not stick. I even left one on overnight, it still came off with the slightest tug. Not worth my money.
Update, the company got in touch with me and offered either a refund or replacement with an upgraded finish that the labels would stick to. I opted for a replacement since I use this size mailer quite a bit. They arrived yesterday and I stuck a blank label on one. It's adhering well, the corner will pull up but sticks like strong glue on the rest of the label. I'm very pleased with this new batch.
I was really surprised with this company they went above and beyond to fix this issue. Thank you I'll be ordeing again."
Bad quality and waste of money
"These are such poor and disappointing quality. They rip super easily. They also get beat up and look terrible upon arrival. Found this out when an order was shipped back to me and I was ashamed at how messy and torn up the envelope looked after traveling across the country and back. Of course it should look a little used but it looked like it had been through a hurricane.
I sell clothes and pride myself on professional, nice-looking, careful presentation and packaging. When I carefully and intentionally wrap my items, these bags rip easier than tissue paper, I’m serious. To insure things look professional and the mailer is sturdy I have to double up on envelopes and add bubble wrap and tape it closed and even tape the body for good measure. In the end these end up creating more waste than they save!
Idk where all these positive reviews come from. I honestly think either they’re sending things that are flat or small like books r cards (clothes have to be kind of stuffed into the bag, even when the clothing is smaller than the mailer itself) or it’s some sort of cope. It must be wishful thinking since people want so hard to be green. Some things just aren’t replicable, like actual plastic and paper.
I’m almost finished with my 100 envelopes but won’t purchase again. Hilariously poor quality but I guess appearing to go green helps your business’ image at least. Like lol you’re still shipping your item which uses a ton of oil and resources and tape and bubble wrap but we can all feel good about ourselves anyway right"
