finally something worth its weight!
"We have tried so many natural aluminum-free deodorants that we are almost ready to give up! But when I was reading a review for a different deodorant, I saw someone comment how much they liked this one from Ethique. My daughter and I decided to give it a go! It does *not* glide on smoothly like other deodorants - which I think in this case is great. No sticky coconut oil that you have to wait for to dry. It rubs on more like a bar soap! we have the lavender scent so it does leave a slight purple color underarm for just a few minutes. but your own body heat appears to heat up the deodorant to do its thing. We workout every day at the gym and we live in the hot desert - so we NEED something that works. we are one week in and so far this is a great purchase! We haven't had any BO issues and haven't HAD to reapply. I have reapplied once towards the end of the day, but that is out of caution not necessity. The only complaint so far is the cardboard applicator. It's a 'push up" type container that I feel might wear down or scratch the underarm if you don't have enough of the deodorant pushed up. having to push it up every time is not ideal. But whatever! if it works for the affordable pricing (compared to others at $22-35 a pop)! I will take it! If it ends up not working out I will come back to update. But so far a worthy opponent!"

"I am close to finishing my second unit of this product. The first time I ordered, it came in bar form. While it was challenging to apply, I did store it in a reusable tin, and used it until gone. It was easy enough to apply with fingers.
I like the concept of a push-up tube, but as the product wears, and with humidity in the bathroom, the tube starts to fall apart. Thankfully, I’m close to finishing, so I can always remove the rest and put in my tin for travel/backpack purposes as needed, and purchase a new tube for home use.
I like that this product lasts for a long time (last purchase in March of 2023), and while our environment is not insanely hot, it does get humid. It is effective against sweat and smells, and on some days I may need to reapply or apply more in the morning. But I expect that with most deodorants. Overall, satisfied and repeat customer!
