Better than the nylon brushes used today.
"I've been looking for a good scrub brush and came across these on Amazon; I remember the Fuller Brush salesman of the 1950's and how he would travel in a van loaded with just about everything a housewife of that period would need. These brushes were the kind of items that were sold and how really good they were. So, I bought a couple and the first time I used one put the one's sold today to shame. So, am I happy I found these? Yes!"

Not what I hoped for.. but acceptable
"I was looking for an old fashioned scrub brush, but this is not it. The hand grip is wooden which I do like, but the scrub brush itself is much smaller than I expected, which is the biggest negative feature for me. The bristles are not particularly stiff, and they do shed some."
