"I wanted some brushes and tools to clean cast iron with that i wouldn't need to soap up. The large brush works fairly well for that use, but the bristles do wear down pretty quickly. That may be because of what im using it on, but regardless, the bristles bent out of shape quickly and wouldn't go back to normal when washed after. The bottle brushes are fine, but on those the bristles are almost too hard and make it difficult to get into some straws. They do however work, and i like that there are multiple sizes and types. These are also aesthetically pretty which is nice compared so some of the tacky multi coloured ones out there."

"The set of brushes will accommodate all your kitchen needs, whether it be for items that are tiny, such as straws, or for your regular kitchen dishes, plates and bowls. The 5 ergonomic brushes are strong and sturdy, and much better than the plastic ones I usually use.

The only negative I can see with this product is that according to instructions on the box, these brushes, "...should be replaced after 2-3 months to avoid bacterial build-up." So, the costs associated may be an issue with this purchase because you will have to replace them often. Also, the brushes need to be washed by hand; they are not to be placed in the dishwasher. But overall, I think this is a good purchase. However, I would be hesitant about buying this product 4 or 5 times a year at a cost of around $19.00."

"I really like the wooden handles on three of the brushes (such a nice change from plastic). I love the fact that it's eco-friendly. I'm not wild about how stiff the bristles are but I can see how that might be a plus in certain circumstances. The 2 narrow brushes for straws do the job well, even on my metal straws that have a 45° bend in them. The long, tall one works well getting at the bottom of a bottle with a thin neck (think something like a soy sauce bottom), but none of them can really do the sides of that type of bottle. The set is ideal for hand-washing water bottles but I send mine through the dishwasher so not so useful for me."
