"There are a dozen sleeves of ten forks each in this set, minimally packaged in accord with the environmentally conscious materials they're are made from. At 6 1/2", the forks are large enough to use comfortably, with tines solid enough for about any food served with disposable tableware. They're fairly substantial, with ribs molded into the backs of the tines to keep them rigid, and they'll spring back from bending that might well break inexpensive plastic ware.

We'll use these for summer picnics and big family gatherings, though they'd be perfect for any church or corporate gathering where food is served. They're slightly more expensive than standard plastic throw-aways, but we'll feel better about disposing of them afterwards since they're biodegradable."
