"It stays cold for the same amount of time as the gel packs I've used in the past, which is a good amount of time. The plush side is soft against my skin. It stays in place (the stetchy strap allows you to put pressure on the area if desired). It's easy to use.

I don't need it for both sides of my sprained ankle, so I fold it in half, and that works perfectly. I ordered a second one so that I always have a cold one available."

"What I love about this is that I can wrap it around the affected joint and strap it tightly enough with the elastic-and-velcro straps that it stays there, and stays in contact. When I'm hurting badly enough to need something like this, I *seriously* need it to be seriously cold and in good contact.

The flocked side means I don't have to use any kind of cloth layer between the pack and my skin. The non-flocked side gives extended cold-pack time when turned to face the skin.

I could wish it retained the cold for longer, but it would probably have to be thicker and therefore less flexible in that case, which would make it less flexible. Getting a two-pack is the next best thing."
