Zero plastic
"Its key selling point and feature is zero plastic. I was about to recycle the box and was very pleasantly surprised that the box is the dispenser!
The floss itself is bamboo, sustainable.
It feels like a very thin floss that had some white residue on top of the charcoal layer. I wouldn’t say it’s fully waxed and glides as smoothly compared to other floss but it works just like any other floss. It got through all my teeth fine, even the tight space in my molar.
No flavor.
No shredding but surprisingly the floss snapped in half. I was testing it aggressively, maybe that’s why? So I’d say it’s not as durable but it did last through a full floss routine until it snapped. Also no slippage.
Performance-wise, it’s ok. But it excels in its story of sustainability and because of that, I recommend."
Bamboo fiber, pretty strong! A little wide
"Not bad, I didn't realize the box was a dispenser which is great, love eco-conscious consumables. I need both fingers to cut the strand just fyi.
Not the thinnest of floss so it doesn't fit in my tight bottom incisors BUT it is stronger than the basic thin standard floss my dentist gives - so, although that one fits better, it snaps way easier. This doesn't snap or fray as easily which I appreciate at least.
It wasn't very clear what material this was though, doesn't say on the box however it does say bamboo fiber on the listing though. Should be on the box imo, between this and the slightly wider set those are the only negatives. Not sure how long 55yds will last but TBA!"
Not waxed
"This floss is fine if your teeth are not too tight together. If they are tight then you’re going to have a tough time getting this between your teeth. It says “silk floss” but I wouldn’t describe it as silk personally. I have 2 rather large spaces between my teeth that food particles constantly get stuck in, so this works perfectly for those spaces but I cannot get it between my other teeth.
I DO love that it is 100% biodegradable and usda organic. There’s no plastic in it, so it’s very eco friendly. If it were waxed floss, I’d like it even better."
