"This is going to be my obsession for a while! It is light and sooo gentle. It has a lather but quick wash off. And yall— it is THE best makeup remover. Usually when I use a cleaner, I have to follow up with a mi cellar water or something to get the remains off but NOT with this cleanser. Even on days when I don’t wear makeup it gets allllll the dirt off with just one wash. Seriously amazing. If you are debating, just get it. I promise you won’t regret!!!"
If you have dry/very dry/sensitive skin or are already a CeraVe fan, then this product is for you!
"I have used CeraVe products for years now, and I always found that the Foaming Facial Cleanser (for oily skin) was way too strong for me. I used their Hydrating Facial Cleanser (for normal to dry skin), and I am a big fan of that product still and also highly recommend that everyone have it in their routine. That being said, this product is a somewhat niche yet incredible product. I have normal skin, so I mostly use the Hydrating Facial Cleanser from CeraVe—this does a great job at keeping my skin clear AND hydrated. I used the Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser when my skin is irritated/dried out from shaving or from using other skin products. It is an easy way to cleanse my skin without adding to the irritation. I also use it to clear up skin on my body, since stronger products usually do more harm than good for me there. If you have dry or sensitive skin, then this product should definitely form the core of your routine. If you have normal to dry skin, then I would definitely incorporate this but not make it the core of your routine. You can never go wrong with CeraVe as long as you are using the right product for your skincare goals!"
It’s good, just not revolutionary.
"I was under the impression this would be akin to many other oil cleansers on the market, as in an actual oil. It is not. It’s a foamy cleanser with oil in it. So it didn’t do what I’d thought it would do. I was looking for a dupe for an astronomically expensive product that I love and this wasn’t it.
Still, it’s a great cleanser if you have really dry skin and still want some foam. I used the whole bottle, it just doesn’t address what I thought it would."
