"This large gel ice pack was such a tremendous help to me during my recovery from recent hip replacement surgery! It is so big that it covered my thigh from knee to hip crease. The pack re-freezes quickly after several hours of truly excellent icing that brings great relief. It has a smooth side so that it doesn’t irritate the skin. I covered the plastic (outside) side with a terry kitchen towel, but a bathroom hand towel would work well too, just to absorb condensation from that surface. I can’t recommend this highly enough. Of many ice packs I used, this was my favorite!"
