"I can't attest to them being biodegradable, but I like the value prop and the color (hate having a blue or green sponge hanging out around the sink). These seem like good quality and get the job done on caked on messes as well. Most of the comments here say they cut them in half - I did too (before reading the other comments) b/c they are a bit large and an odd aspect ratio. I use the ones with hole cut outs to hang on the dish dryer rack but you can easily just cut a slit in one and do the same thing. Also they did feel slightly damp when I received them as others have pointed out. It's weird so I am demeriting one star."

"I was so excited to see biodegradable sponges. These are natural, you can see the coconut coir. The sponge is good and doesn't break off. It's pretty big, I actually cut one in half to use to wash dishes. I don't need such a big sponge for dishes. But it's nice to have a big one if I need it.
When I received it, I took it out of the bag and the sponge felt damp.. kinda strange? So I laid them out in the sun to try to dry them. I kept it out for about 24 hrs (outside in the sun and inside to air dry) and still felt a
