"Well finally gave up on plastic, plastic, plastic and more plastic. These bags claim to break down without any special composting protocols. I am distressed daily throwing more and more plastic into our trash and environment so finally decided to try these. They are roomy! Fits our trash can that several brands of plastic bags needed a 40 gallon to work. Have NOT used them fully yet (still filling up our first bag) but so far they appear to be sturdy enough to handle our needs. We need to ban non-compostable trash bags really ....."

"This definitely FELT very sturdy when I was using it for normal trash purposes, somewhere between normal grade trashbag, and contractor grade. it felt thick and rip resistant.

however, I used it for some yard pickup, and over the span of 4 days between using it, and tossing it into the trash, the sun started breaking down the bag, and it started shredding apart when i picked up the green waste!

still a nice bag, just beware that it absolutely DOES start breaking down quickly!"
