"While the sponges do a nice job of acting like a sponge, I did take these out of the package to allow them to rise to full size and am very disappointed. They barely rose at all, essentially remaining the same size as they were when packaged. While I did not pay attention to the size in the description, I will say that you should definitely take a second look at it prior to placing your order if this is something of importance to you, as it is to me. These would fit perfectly in the hand of a young child, but in the hand of an adult male these are exceptionally small and a bit uncomfortable to hold on to when doing dishes for any extended period of time."

"These are a little smaller than the brand name sponges we usually buy. A tiny bit thinner as well.

However, after using one for a while, they compare nicely. They soak up suds and wash just as well. They wring dry the same. This one has lasted nicely after a good bit of use for 2+ weeks. I can see no real wear and tear yet.

Eight bucks for a pack of 12 is a bargain."

"The sponges arrived vaccuumed packed in a package making it much smaller than I expected. Opening it up though, the sponges quickly inflated in size. The thickness and width of the sponge matches name brand versions I have, with both sides of the sponge seeming to match the name brand products in quality and feel as well. The sponges also had a pleasent "fresh disinfectant" like smell upon opening the package so you know you're getting a fresh product. The main thing to note about them is that they are shorter than a name brand sponge by about 1/2 to 1 inch. They are uniform in size, so it wasn't an accident, they just are different in size. This is not a big deal for me since there is still plenty of sponge surface to use. I like that this uses less plastic wrapping than name brand sponges which tend to wrap each item individually, so if you are eco-friendly this should make you feel a bit better by creating a tiny bit less waste."
