"I've consistently bought disposable cotton rounds or balls in the past for facial cleansing and blemish treatment (I primarily use witch hazel with them). These are a great alternative. They save money and work exactly the same way as the disposables, except of course that I wash them instead of tossing. They are soft (they feel kind of like the baby washcloths I used to get for my son - a lightweight soft terrycloth) with just enough texture to lift makeup and sweat. They come with a lightweight mesh bag for washing. I toss them in there as I use them, and when I run a load of laundry I tie off the bag and throw it in.
My only concern is with making sure they dry all the way. If I throw them in the bag damp, they may stay damp too long and then get mildewed and stinky. Sometimes I've draped them over something to dry and then put them in the bag to avoid this issue. Also, when I tried to wash ALL of them in the bag at once, they didn't all get dry in the dryer. They were still a little damp (all in there together) and I had to run them back through. Just something to keep in mind."
