"Lovely Hempz lotion, I've been a fan for a while and this one is just as good as others. Smooth and silky, soaks in quickly and provides nice long lasting hydration. I normally use it on my legs as they get really dry esp in the winter time. This is really pretty with the nice silver glitter style and bright red print. I love a peppermint but the scent here is just weird to me and not what I expected at all. Almost like it went sour. There is a mint smell but it is more like old mint leaves and not a candy cane peppermint, there also seems to be a musky or herbal undertones to it. The scent lasts just as long as other hempz but sadly this is not one I would want to use when around others as I find the scent off putting. This will be one I use when spending a day home alone. Normally the scents are one of my favorite things about Hempz so caution on this one! I knocked a star for this issue but other than that, it's a great high quality lotion."

"Hempz Limited Edition Peppermint Candy Cane Herbal Body Lotion Moisturizer seemed like a nice holiday treat, but the actual results were mixed. First the presentation which is what first led me to the product is quite nice and festive. I enjoyed the bells and candy cane images giving that traditional holiday vibe. The lotion itself applies easily and didn't linger with any greasy aspects. The moisturizing performance was maybe average at best and were no long-lasting. The fragrance is not what I was expecting. I thought it may resemble what starlight or candy cane mints smell like and it does not. It may be peppermint, but it is not the typical one used in candy.

I gave this review four stars mainly because of the moisturizing value; otherwise, I would have gone with three."

"My girlfriend and I love Hempz body lotions. Always have some variety in our house. We thought this would be a fun one to get and try. The bottle is incredibly cute and festive. Little jingle bells at the top of the bottle, super cute. A good size bottle too at 17oz for about $20 as of review time. Moisturizes great, leaves the skin feeling very soft and smooth. One thing I love about every Hempz product is that soft feeling. Some lotions feel tacky after applying, but not this one. Peppermint is the initial scent you get. Not super strong but very noticeable and pleasant. After a while it fades into a much more herbal and eucalyptus smell. Not terrible at all, just different from the initial scent. Good for a Christmas lotion!"
