"These toilet cleaner strips are quick and easy to use. We have 5 bathrooms, so anything that speeds up the cleaning process in an environmentally friendly way is a plus for me. On cleaning day, I just dropped a half sheet into each toilet and let them sit to dissolve for a half hour or so, then went back with the toilet brush and scrubbed them. (I didn't check, but am sure they dissolved much faster than that.) The strips were completely dissolved by the time I got to them. While I agree with others that they don't reach up under the rim, I solved that by using the water in the bowl with the dissolved cleaning strip in it to brush up under the rim, taking care of that issue.

They are more environmentally friendly than regular toilet bowl cleaners. 1. No plastic bottles to send to the landfill. 2. They're made with plant based and non-toxic ingredients which are safe for septic and grey water systems.

I found that they did a good job cleaning our toilets; however, I'm not sure how well they would do on a really dirty toilet bowl that hadn't been cleaned in a while, since ours were not too dirty. I also don't know how well it disinfects, so I'll keep a bottle of regular toilet bowl cleaner around in case someone is sick, and I want some extra disinfecting power.

The lemon scent is pleasant out of the box, but dissipated when dissolved in water.

These are easy to store right in the bathroom. Of course I'll keep them on a high shelf out of the reach of our grandchildren. Even though they're non-toxic, I wouldn't want a toddler to be temped to lick or eat them with the lemon scent.

"We've already stopped using plastic bottles of detergent for our laundry (we use natural, dissolvable pods instead), so we were excited to try these toilet cleaner strips for the same reason. They're definitely convenient and space-saving and do a good job of cleaning. The time it takes them to dissolve varies, but it's pretty quick. The scent is strong in the box (but not overpowering) but quickly dissipates when the strip is used. It does help the toilet smell a bit fresher, but more odor control would be nice. The only thing we prefer with a spray is the ability to get it up under the rim, so we'll probably keep a refillable spray bottle on hand for that purpose. As expected, the strips are much more effective for new dirt and stains than for old ones, but they're convenient to use frequently to prevent staining."
