"I received both the AIDEA unscented and Fresh Linen scented detergent sheets, and this review covers both of them. There seems to be no difference between these two detergent sheets at all, other than one is fragrance free and the other has that fresh laundry scent.

These AIDEA laundry detergent sheets are such a great idea. They are sheets of soap, sort of like fabric softener sheets, but the entire sheet dissolves in water to clean your laundry in the washing machine. I have a front-loading washing machine, the kind with a little pull-out soap dispenser drawer, and have used this soap in my machine two ways: first by folding the detergent sheet to fit and then placing it in the dispenser drawer, and it worked great that way, with no leftover soap or residue in the dispenser. I also washed a couple of loads where I placed the soap sheet directly into the washer with my clothes, and this detergent worked well that way, too. Either way, the sheet quickly and fully dissolved and there were no traces of it left in my machine, in the dispenser, or on my clothes. And my laundry came out nice and clean.

The fragrance-free sheets are truly unscented, as far as my nose can tell. The Fresh Linen scented ones do have that lovely, fresh smell of a typical laundry detergent or dryer sheet. The scent is somewhat strong while the sheets are in the box, but once my laundry has washed and dried, the scent is still fresh but quite faint. Each box contains 30 full-size sheets. Each of the 30 sheets is perforated down the middle so you can easily tear it in half. A full sheet is enough detergent to wash a normal-size load of laundry, or you can add another half sheet if you have a larger load, or use only a half sheet if you have a smaller load.

I love that these laundry soap sheets are so small and lightweight, and there's no ugly plastic jug cluttering up my laundry room. This also means there's no worry of the trash a big plastic jug sends to the landfill. These came in a small, flat box that easily fits in a drawer or cabinet and doesn't take up much room at all. Inside the box are two paper packets of detergent sheets which take up even less space than the box, so if you really need to save room, you could ditch the box. Both the box and the packets are very lightweight and small, espcially compared to a big, heavy jug of liquid laundry soap. These sheets would be perfect for someone in a dorm or apartment who must lug their dirty clothes and laundry supplies to a laundry room, since these are so lightweight and small -- and they won't spill or leak, so they're great for traveling because you can safely pack them in your suitcase. Plus they work great for fresh, clean clothes, so there's that, too."

"Two main things bother me about this product. First off, the box is big and thin, which makes little sense since the sheets are small and come in little packages of 20 (see the attached image.) I would have rather the box been smaller so it'd be a little easier to store. The second thing that bothers me is the scent - or rather the lack of scent. The product is listed and labelled as a "fresh scent" and... it barely smells like anything. I've used scent-free detergents that have more scent than this.

In terms of cleaning power, it seems to have cleaned my laundry an appropriate amount. The sheets are perforated, so you can tear them in half fairly easily. It's simple, and I honestly really like not having to wash out the detergent cup every time I do laundry. My towels felt appropriately clean, and I even used them to wash some more delicate materials and they seemed to be just fine. I can recommend this product, it makes a lot of sense for someone who doesn't want to travel with detergent or spend money on a box from the laundromat. For home use, I'm not sure why you'd use these over your typical liquid detergent, aside from the small time save on the inevitable small mess that makes.

"The AIDEA Laundry Detergent Sheets Fresh Scent- 80 Sheets initally by the container gave me the impression they would need to be stored in the big envelope. So I was at first not sure about them but found that inside are 4 envelopes containing 20 sheets each yay! Much easier to store than the big cardboard one they are inside when you get them.

The more I use laundry sheets the more they surprise me. I was in a rush and totally forgot I'd had machine grease on my work jeans. A big quarter size spot in fact. Of course I remembered when I went to take them out to throw them in the dryer as how these things usually happen right. I glanced at where the grease had been. Yes it did't get it completely out but it was 99% gone and I hadn't even pretreated it like I'd intended to do. So yeah I'm impressed how they perform."
