"Like a different plate better"

"Products made from sugarcane and bamboo are more eco-friendly because they grow faster than trees. No one says, gee, look at that sugarcane. It must have been here in medieval times, right? I'm much more willing to use sugarcane products than tree, just for that reason alone. These are about as good as Chinet, my favorite brand before I found these. Frankly, I usually double them up for the added strength (same with Chinet) but they don't soak through, usually. So even with foods that aren't dry, if I check the under plate, it's usually clean and I can save it to use, again, later. It would have to be really clean to put back in the package, but sometimes, I can set it aside to use for, say, a disposable cutting board later, especially if I'm cutting up meat."
