It's cool how it goes from a butter-like substance to melting into an oil on your face, and how well it removes makeup - I have never used a makeup remover that has worked so well so effortlessly. My only problem with it is that it leaves my face very dry."

"I have used other Banila Co cleansing balms previously, particularly the purple (for sensitive skin) and the pink (all skin types) jars. This apricot jar specifically targets aging skins, with plant-based moringa-derived ceramides to help firm skin. Personally, I don't really think the cleansing balm will contribute much to firming skin because as a cleansing balm, you are washing off the product so the ceramides may not be able to efficiently penetrate into skin. However, as a cleansing balm itself, this works wonderfully. The texture is more of a sherbert, as it is much softer than traditional waxier balm textures and removes makeup well as a first oil-based cleanse. Overall, I would definitely recommend Banila Co cleansing balms in general but for their makeup-removing capabilities and not for any other skin claims."
